OutSystems Developer

Competencies and Skills:

• Experience and comfort with Agile methodologies
• Ability to interpret business requirements and think through “logical” next steps
• Ability to do basic data modelling and enforce proper referential integrity constraints
• Understanding of Rapid Application Development (RAD) best practices and implementation
• Understanding of full stack development
• Understanding of best practices for web application security
• Proficiency with Oracle SQL
• Proficiency with ASP.NET
• Proficiency with web services (REST and SOAP)
• Proficiency with OutSystems Service Studio & Integration Studio.
• Effective OutSystems development experience for Web and/or Mobile.
• Good knowledge of Database DDL, DML Queries, optimizing those queries keeping performance in mind.
• A keen interest in related technologies such as DBMSs, Application Servers, JS Frameworks and APIs that may be integrated with OutSystems
• Proficiency in the base web technologies of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery
• OutSystems Associate or Professional Certification level
• Develop enterprise-grade applications using the OutSystems platform, employing OutSystems Canvas Architecture, touching all layers from data modelling and integrations to business logic and UI
• Design futuristic and fault-proof architectures, that integrate with existing customer systems
• Help the business discover how its processes can be improved and digitized in OutSystems

Experience & Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field and at least 2 years of experience building web applications with at least one year of OutSystems specific development experience
• 3 years of Web Application Development including at least 1-year OutSystems specific development
• OutSystems Certification: Web Associate Developer or Higher
